The inspiration for this painting happened on a walk one winter afternoon. Suddenly the slate-colored sky cast a silvery veil over the snow covered meadow before me, lighting up ethereal blue shadows in the snow. I used mixed media on a cradled panel and framed the piece in a light wood floater frame.
