This abstract landscape was inspired by the marshland surrounding Orr Lake in Northern California. A huge eagle's nest towers above the trailhead. Walking further there is a cacophony of bird calls, while river otters silently slide along the banks of a winding creek. The painting is framed in a simple maple floater frame. It will be for sale at the Museum of Northern California Art in Chico beginning May 17.
